Welcome to English Language Learners

Blair High School ELD Department offers a comprehensive program to all English Learners where everyone has the opportunity to participate in our EDGE programs, which include Fundamentals, EDGE A, and EDGE B. These programs are a theme-based series designed to teach academic English to middle and secondary students encouraging the interaction among students by using effective cooperative learning strategies, teaching EL students reading skills and writing to build comprehension skills and fluency.
